'Danquella was born in the Ukraine and moved to Lithuania in early childhood. After finishing her Lithuanian education Danquella worked as a clthes designer before becoming a school teacher specialising in Art andd Design.

In 1997 she decided to seek new challenges and went to New York. There she sold a few paintings but returned to Lithuania when the visa expired. After seven months at home she sought abetter life and left for England. Various jobs allowed her to save enough money to finance her dream to become an artist and in April 2006 she turned professional.

In this time she has developed a unique method of etching a mixture of acrylic and oil on canvas which is unlike anything viewers have seen before. The original s are back-lit with LEDs and many originals have been reproduced as limited edition prints. Danquella's images range form imaginative space themes to more illstrative scenes of famous landmarks, all using the same technique.
